Half-priced restaurant service First Table launches on the Gold Coast on June 4, with more than a dozen new restaurants joining the discount dining network, including local favourites SoPo Dining Room and Baskk at Kirra Point.
First Table rewards diners making early-bird bookings with a 50% discount off the total food bill from member restaurants.
The platform — which has more than 700 restaurants across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK — solves the age-old problem of slow starts to evenings in restaurants and lets patrons try new spots at a discounted rate.
With no cost to join for either restaurants or diners, users pay just $10 to make a booking at a partner restaurant in the early hours of the evening for half price off the total food bill.
